Important Alert

ATTENTION LSRII USERS: The UV laser on the LSR II is not working properly. A replacement has been ordered.

Please Note

When placing your request on-line, please include your first name, type of cells and fluorochrome(s). This information will allow me to place your request on the schedule in a more timely manner (by avoiding multiple emails to confirm sort details).

New Additions to the Flow Cytometry Center

BD LSR II Flow Cytometer

The LSR II Flow Cytometer performs acquisition and analysis on up to 13 different parameters utilizing 5ml culture tubes or 96-well plates. The LSR II uses DIVA acquisition software featuring optional auto-compensation tools. The LSRII can be configured to meet the detection needs of your experiment using the Flow Cytometry Lab's large library of filter sets. For information on the standard filter configuration or to request a special configuration, please visit the Flow Cytometry Lab. LSR II training is required and available by contacting Suzanne.

BD Aria II High Speed Cell Sorter

The Aria II can perform high-speed cell separations based on up to 14 different parameters. Two-way, four-way and 96-well plate collection is available on the Aria II. Like the LSRII, the Aria II can be configured to meet the detection needs of your cell sort. For more information on the Aria II's standard configuration or to discuss a special configuration, please visit the Flow Cytometry Lab.

The FACSVantage SE High-Speed Cell Sorter, 4-color FACS Calibur and 3-color FACS Calibur are also available.
